Update: HKJA releases 2014 report, “Press Freedom under Siege”

July 7, 2014 — The Hong Kong Journalists Association released its 2014 annual report, “Press Freedom Under Siege,” in which it detailed what it described as the “darkest” year for press freedom in decades that included violent attacks against journalists, financial pressures and an increasing reliance by the government on anonymous sources.
